1. Application

This general purpose flat wagon is suitable for operation on 1435mm gauge railway lines and is used for transport: logs, sleeper rows, steel, cars, tractors, packaged goods, containers and large concrete bridges. By using movable side end plates, sand and ore can also be transported.

2. Main structures

This flat car mainly consists of a chassis, steel floor, end door, side door, air brake device, hand brake device, coupler buffer device, bogie, and other parts.

Chassis

The chassis is a fully welded steel structure, mainly composed of center beams, side beams, end beams, sleeper beams, large beams, auxiliary beams, etc.

Floor

8mm thick steel floor is paved on the under frame.

Air brake device

Railway air brake device’s main pipe pressure complies with 500kPa and 600kPa. It mainly consists of a 120 type control valve, an integral spinning sealed brake cylinder with a diameter of 356mm, an ST2-250 type bidirectional slack adjuster, and a KZW-A type empty and load vehicle automatic adjustment device.

Hand brake machine

It adopts Chinese NSW hand brake machine, whose hand wheel diameter 400mm, brake ratio is 27. The mounting height could be adjust according to customer requirements.

Coupler & buffer

Adopt lower acting No. 13 coupler , the supporting coupler yoke and ST-2 buffer.

Bogie

The bogie adopts K2 type cast steel three piece wagon bogie with a 23t axle load. The bolster and side frame are made of B-grade steel with a wide guide frame structure for the side. There is a cross support device between the two side frames. The bolster spring is of two-level rigidity.
